Lightweight and never cakey, it can be used as a foundation, contour or concealer. Featuring hydrating ingredients and a water-based formula, it provides the skin with natural coverage and lightweight moisture.

Usage

As a foundation: starting in the centre of the face, apply directly to skin, moving from the forehead, down the nose and over the chin. Apply one swipe along the cheekbones and under eyes. Apply 2-3 swipes for more coverage.

For sheer to medium coverage, use your fingers to blend from the center outward. For medium coverage, use the Smoothing Face Brush to gently buff foundation into skin in small circular motions, starting at the center and blending outward. For buildable coverage, use the Dual-Sided Silicone Blender, which was made specifically for COMPLEXION RESCUE Hydrating Foundation Stick. Use the silicone side to stipple and build coverage and the sponge side to smooth for a soft-focus finish.

As a concealer: use the ring finger to gently warm up the product, before patting onto areas requiring coverage.

As a contour: select a shade 2–3 times darker than your skin tone, depending on the level of contrast you want, then apply directly to the hollows of the face, i.e. below the cheekbones, sides of the forehead and temples, along the jawline, sides of the nose and below the bottom lip.
