Take the Day Off Charcoal Cleansing Balm

Please listen to the many reviews and bring back the original product. I don't understand why it's been discontinued, makes zero sense. You can't use charcoal to on sensitive eyes on a daily basis.

I am a fan of the original white cleaning balm. Unfortunately, one day all of sudden, the original version is no where to be found and a new charcoal version is all that is available. Initially I thought it was just a supply issue, and the original version will be back on the shelf soon. So I stocked up the original version while traveling to Asia, and hoped the original one will be back in stock in Canada once my stock is used up. It has been more than one year since then, and the original version is still not available in Canada. I am so glad to see so many reviews share the same concerns as myself: Charcoal is NOT an ingredient to be used on dry sensitive skin on daily basis! I don't understand how come Clinique, an skincare expert, do not share this common sense that even average skincare users have. I could not help but wonder if certain ingredients in the original version became more expensive to import into Canada?

Why will Clinique not tell us why they changed the formula of this classic product only in Canada? I've been to Asia, Europe and the USA in the past year and this OG cleansing balm without charcoal is available in these places - they don't sell the charcoal formulation. Why would I want to use black makeup remover? I wipe and can't tell if all of my makeup is off because the remover is black? Plus it makes a mess of my washcloths and sink. Seriously Canada, what is up with this? This Charcoal balm is the worst! And I've always thought that the TTDO Cleansing Balm was one of Cliniques stand out products. This is just sad.
