Haircare meets scientific flair at Living Proof, the cult line from the US that puts manes under the microscope.

Founded in 2005 by editorial hairstylists Mitch DeRosa and Ward Stegerhoek, the pair enlisted a wide-ranging team of elite scientists from the prestigious MIT University and set about creating truly innovative beauty that puts science at the forefront and delivers products that do precisely what they say on the packaging (imagine that!).

The goal was a lofty one: to bring together cutting-edge science and clinical technology, and forge never-before-seen solutions to the (very annoying!) problems of hair frizz, damage and dirt. The team also set themselves an additional challenge, to do away with any silicones or resins in their formulas. The result? A science-led lineup of products, powered by their own patented technology, that delivers visibly healthier hair that is not only easier to style, but that stays cleaner for longer. This is not your average dry shampoo.
