Think: Kate Moss, Rihanna, Zendaya, Charli XCX, Cher. Isamaya’s background in sculpture, industry experience and non-conformist approach to beauty are distilled into every product of her eponymous brand. ISAMAYA fuses cutting-edge artistry with science-backed skincare innovation to create a new category of ‘active’ beauty. A colour correcting tint that targets dullness and discolouration; a bold, shimmery gloss that deeply nourishes lips; a multi-use sculpting stick packed full of barrier-boosting ceramides.
In anticipation of the launch, we rounded up three team members, all with a background in artistry, to give their review on our newest brand. Here’s what they told us…

Makenzie, Paid Media Lead
It’s hard to ignore the glow bouncing off Makenzie’s cheek here, who credits the multi-purpose Face Glaze for this impressive pop: “I’m a big fan of dewy skin, and it’s the ultimate glow booster.”
This all over glaze features brown algae extract to hydrate and soothe whilst phyto collagen activator smoothes texture. “I tested it several ways: mixed into foundation, on the high points of my face, even on my lips and collarbones and found using my fingers to apply it worked best.”

While the Face Glaze caught our attention at first, Mackenzie tells us the Skin Enhancing Duo , in shade ‘Fig’, was the standout for her. With a buildable, versatile cream blush on one side and a silky highlighter on the other, this chrome compact is perfect for people on-the-go: “I travel frequently for work and this duo will definitely be coming with me on every trip from now on.”

Jeremy, Customer Education Lead
Simple, yet ‘makeup-y’ products are a key part of ISAMAYA’s overall philosophy. Designed to be used across your cheeks, lips and eyes, the Sculpting Stick is a prime example of such versatility, according to Jeremy.
“I used shades ‘Rosewood’ and ‘Mahogany’ to create a smoky eye look. The texture meant they blended together seamlessly and the payoff was great. The tones are quite natural but can be built up for dramatic effect.”

Speaking of dramatic effect, Jeremy also tried the Liplacq in ‘Black Veil’, a plumping gloss that gives your lips a glass-like shine: “I was intimidated at first, but the shade itself quickly won me over. It was a fun way to deepen the natural tone of my lips and the texture was very comfortable,”
He continues, “There's an understated elegance to the tones and textures of all these products that give natural makeup a slight edge. It’s definitely for people (like me) who like to build, add, and adapt their makeup from day to night.”

Tiana, Digital Marketing & Media Coordinator
On ISAMAYA’s line up of Metal Lip Balms - where a conditioning treatment meets a prismatic, metallic shine - Tiana says: “I was apprehensive to try them at first…I thought ‘Acid Cherry’ would be way too bold for everyday but I was so surprised at how wearable it was,”
These balms are designed to be layered, making them incredibly versatile. For a sheer look, just swipe and go, or make a statement by applying a Lip Liner and adding generous layers of the balm.

Another scene stealer, according to Tiana, was the Mascara: “I could not believe how long and separated my lashes looked,”
Sure, this mascara gives instant lift and length, but the best part of this peptide infused-formula, that strengthens lashes over time.
