In this episode of Behind the Beauty, we explore the world of Tower 28 founder Amy Liu.
With a professional history in the beauty industry (for 15+ years!) – and a personal history battling eczema flare ups – Tower 28 was born out of Amy’s desire to create a beauty brand for everyone – especially people with sensitive skin.
Guided by Amy, we visit the real lifeguard tower the brand is named after, located at the intersection of Venice and Santa Monica beaches in Los Angeles (one of Amy’s local hangouts!). It’s the spot that inspired Amy to create a fun, safe space for sensitive skin, where makeup isn’t off-guards – or exclusive to the stereotypical ‘Cali girl’.
