5 Colour Eyeshadow Palette

I already own two of the larger 18 pan palettes from Byredo and was looking forward to comparing the formula between these and the Quints. I went for State of Emotions due to being quite a different colour story to what I already own. I really do not like using my fingers when applying shadow and therefore only used brushes. I always use an eye base as well to even out the lids first. I had absolutely no issues with this palette at all. Each of the shades all picked up beautifully and applied thus. I adore the packaging being something rather different and so looking forward to trying more palettes in future. The shades are so beautiful and can still be used in a variety of ways. It's only the imagination that limits us. I have no problems with recommending this palette from my experience. It was a joy to use.

The pigment in this was not worth the price - the packaging is beautiful and the shades are interesting but you really need to dig with your finger in the pan to get any pay off on the eye. The matte shade was probably the best of the bunch but the ones with shimmer /pear were a fail.

Doesn’t want to leave the palette! Terrible formulation for such an expensive product. I wish I could have sent this back it is a total nightmare. Brushes and fingers can’t pick it up and even that new micellar water trick doesn’t work! Such a shame.
