Antiperspirant deodorants contain aluminium to help prevent perspiration (or sweating). The aluminium disrupts your body's natural sweating process to prevent sweat from coming out, so when you make the switch to an Aluminium-Free deodorant your body goes through an adjustment phase. During this “detox” period, you may experience more sweat or odour than usual. This is a temporary inconvenience that generally lasts up to 30 days until your body regulates itself again and learns to sweat naturally.
