It’s body care, however, that became the topic du jour after we published an article titled 'Touch My Elbow' last year. All of a sudden, finding the very best body moisturiser became an obsession.
In the market for a new body cream that leaves us soft and silky but not sticky, we sent a little birdy around the office (let’s face it, it was a Teams message) to find out which was the best. Here’s what we discovered!
Sophie's Pick: Sol de Janeiro Bum Bum Cream
“I am very particular about my body moisturisers and I hate when they don’t absorb well. To me, the best thing about Bum Bum Cream is that it contains Cupuaçu Butter, helping it sink in almost immediately - and never leaving you sticky. It’s also not too thick! I’ve been using Bum Bum for the past four years and while I’ve tried others I always come back to it.
“It’s scented just like the Cheirosa 62 Perfume Mist so it smells like pistachio and salted caramel. I know some people find it a little sweet, but I love it and always get compliments.
“My ultimate hack is to use it on my elbows, knees and ankles when I’m fake tanning to ensure an even application every time.”
