On his top tips for more voluminous, fuller-looking hair
“For me it’s all about knowing how to get the most of your products,” says Edwards. “I recommend spraying Volumising Sea Mist directly onto the roots to create the foundations for volume; I then use the Defrizz & Fatten Cream on mid-lengths and the ends to plump the hair. Always finish off with the Dry Texture Spray all over for volume and grit."
The product he’s most proud of
“It changes all the time, but at the moment I think I am most proud of the Defrizz & Fatten Cream. It’s a nourishing cream that fends off flyaways while boosting body and protecting hair from thermal damage,” he explains. “The humidity-resistant formula also works to increase hair volume, promote moisture retention and leave hair smoothed but never flat.”

A hard-working lineup of hair essentials
When it comes to the styling products in the Jaye Haircare range, Edwards emphasises versatility. “Every product in the range has been designed to have a dual purpose, meaning you’re getting more from every product and can use it in multiple ways to achieve your desired effect,” he says.
For example, the Defrizz & Fatten Cream adds volume, while also taming frizzy flyaways and defining curls, while the Dry Texture Spray creates a tousled look while also strengthening and moisturising the hair.
On what’s trending in hair
If you’ve been feeling like retro hair has been having a resurgence, you’re not wrong! “We are seeing a lot of shaggy hair styles, with choppy layers and ’70s-inspired curtain bangs,” says Edwards. The good news? “These super textured styles have amazing longevity and minimal styling maintenance.”
