Inspired by founder Amy Liu’s struggle with eczema, Tower 28 creates a safe space for sensitive skin with makeup (and some unique skincare!) specifically formulated to be gentle and non-irritating.
When we heard whispers that we would finally be getting to spritz their viral SOS Daily Rescue Facial Spray on our (a little too) rosy cheeks and apply their Swipe Serum Concealer on our (not-so-designer) under-eye bags, the excitement at MECCA HQ was palpable.
Now, it’s finally here, and to celebrate the launch of Tower 28 at MECCA, we put the brand’s most hyped products to the test, on MECCA HQ’s sensitive skin types. Keep scrolling for our thoughts!
Emily, Graduate
No stranger to the struggles of red, irritated skin, Emily was dying to try Tower 28: “I've had super sensitive skin for as long as I can remember, but it's definitely gotten worse as I've gotten older.”
Enter, stage left: SOS Daily Rescue Facial Spray - the brand's beloved hypochlorous acid mist.
According to Emily, a few spritzes morning and night kept her redness at bay. “It’s so calming and fits effortlessly into my routine,” she says, adding, “I also loved using it throughout the day whenever I felt a potential breakout on the horizon.”
