Especially when said celebrity ordinarily remains under the radar – and said routine is actually doable. So, when Lara Worthington agreed to reveal the exact four products in her PM skincare routine (from luxe plant-derived skincare brand Emma Lewisham) – complete with a demonstration on how she uses them – you’d better believe we gave it our full attention.
Here, the model, mum-of-three, entrepreneur, and now brand ambassador for Emma Lewisham shows that the key to natural radiance really does start at skin level.
STEP 1: Cleanse with the illuminating oil cleanser
While Worthington has always made a case for a ‘minimal’ beauty routine, she makes sure her products work double time. Take for example, the first step in Worthington’s evening routine, the Emma Lewisham Illuminating Oil Cleanser. It’s formulated with 23 of the world’s most nutrient-rich phyto-actives (for the non-scientists among us, that means plant-derived ingredients), meaning it not only excels at breaking down makeup and lifting daily debris, but nourishes skin at the same time.
“I love an oil cleanser,” reveals Worthington, who applies two pumps of the cleanser onto dry skin. “It takes all of your makeup off without stripping your skin.” The model works the oil over her forehead and cheeks, before removing with a face towel. “It’s super hydrating,” notes Worthington, who is left with a noticeably fresh, dewy face post-cleanse.
Step 2: Rejuvenate with the skin reset serum
Next, Worthington’s favourite (ours too!) – the Skin Reset Serum. When founder Emma Lewisham debuted her skincare range to the world, it was this product that transported her brand into global cult status, with customers gushing over its ability to drastically reduce the appearance of hyperpigmentation.
Worthington agrees: “This is the best for pigmentation and dark spots,” she says, adding, “When I was pregnant with my first son, I had the worst pigmentation; everyone always said, ‘You’re going to get this glow’ and I did not!” She massages one pump of the milky concentrate across her face, focusing on the forehead, cheeks and jawline.
Step 3: Hydrate with the skin reset eye crème
Step 4: Finish with the supernatural face crème riche
“Now this cream is quite thick, but I love it,” explains Worthington. Those who are more on the dry side, or with skin that craves a deeply hydrating moisturiser, will likely also adore Emma Lewisham’s Supernatural Face Crème Riche. It’s the brand’s richest, most advanced moisturiser – packed with 32 ingredients that work together to deliver plumping hydration and overall, a gorgeous, healthy radiance, to which Worthington can attest: “I feel like it saves my skin and just makes it super glowy and really, really hydrated,” she says as she pats the product across her face and neck.
Worthington’s tip? “Sometimes I just wear it to bed, sometimes I wear it as a barrier between makeup and skin,” she explains.
