A quick scroll through the Instagram feed of content creator and tastemaker Nadia Fairfax, and two things become clear: one, she is a hostess extraordinaire, and two, she really knows how to style her jewellery!

“Always evolving, as I like to ‘play’ different characters. I don’t think anyone should have one particular aesthetic. In saying that, I tend to often float towards ’60s mod.”

“Viking history. I'm convinced I'm the descendant of a shield maiden!”
6. I predict the next big beauty trend will be…
“Long hair. Everyone has gone short and the bob will be boring and overdone in about three months.”
7. My number-one tip for hosting parties is…
“Being present – I'm overly conscious not to worry about anything happening in the background. Take pleasure in the company of your guests and they will, in turn, enjoy the party more.”
8. The best gift someone could give their host is…
“Any gift is a beautiful thought, but I always say no flowers – I've already filled my house with florals before they've arrived, and if we’re out and about they tend to get left behind or, of course, die. Just grab something from MECCA!”
