Key ingredients

Coffea arabica seed oil: rich in free-radical-fighting caffeine and antioxidant phenolic compounds.

Sucrose: raw sugar derived from plants (beets) and used for its mild physical exfoliating and quick melting properties.

Almond milk blend: a mix of moisturising almond oil and ground almonds mixed with water and used for its nourishing and skin-soothing properties.

Coffea arabica seed extract: provide gentle but invigorating physical exfoliation benefits.

Virgin marula oil: a super-absorbable oil, high in critical antioxidants and omegas 6 and 9, helps moisturise, nourish, and rejuvenate skin for a youthful glow.

Passionfruit oil: rich moisturising properties and skin-soothing benefits.

Jojoba oil: a natural source of vitamins A and E, it’s chemically similar to the sebum found in skin, which is why it is often used for its soothing and moisturising benefits.

Coconut oil: deep moisturising properties and a rich source of fatty acids.

Years ago, before Drunk Elephant was off the ground, my daughter and her friend wanted to help me make a product. They found some body oil I had made at home, added coffee grounds to it, and just like that, they created a body scrub. And you know what? It was fantastic. So when it came time to do a Drunk Elephant body scrub, we knew exactly what it should be. We mixed powdered coffee and real sugar, and when you add that to the heat and steam of the shower, it smells amazing and totally wakes you up.
