Got this in a sample pack and I rate it one of the worst perfume smells. Not a nice woody smell but a very unpleasant bad tree smell that I will most likely throw out. Not recommended at all. Not sure why anybody would want to smell like that. Really awful.

You can wear it any time of the year of course but it's perfection in winter. I spend winters in Queenstown NZ, and this is my winter signature scent. It literally smells like the air there: foresty, smoky, rainy, snowy with a hint of freshness. I find it lasts longer on me than some other Ellis Brooklyn scents I've worn. I have the 10ml and I think the packaging could be better - the lid is fiddly to get off. I'd rather a shorter smaller bottle than a long thin one but that's personal pref.
