I didn’t read the product description before purchasing and thought this was a wash-off peel but didn’t mind as I use the Kiehl’s Glycolic Acid so I’m used to using these kinds of exfoliants. It’s a great combination of exfoliators and works well to keep my skin soft, glowing and keep breakouts at bay. If you don’t regularly use chemical exfoliants they can cause your skin to purge and you get breakouts but this congestion was already there the product didn’t create them! I see so many reviews saying products like this gave them blemishes, those blemishes were already there and it brought them to the surface because that’s what they are meant to do. Sure it sux but once those blemishes clear and with consistent use it will reduce the incidence of congestion and subsequent blemishes.
My skin is used to AHA’s and BHA’s so I use this daily in conjunction with a weekly peel from another brand and it’s great for keeping those blemishes away!
